Boot Disk Creator does not recognize the USB flash drive plugged into the PC.

If Boot Disk Creator does not detect your USB flash drive, try the following steps:

  1. Try a different USB port.

Unplug the drive and plug it into another USB port on your PC — preferably a rear/motherboard USB port rather than a front-panel or hub-connected port, which can sometimes cause detection issues.

  2. Try a different USB drive.

Some USB flash drive brands or models are not properly recognized due to non-standard controllers. If the issue persists after trying another port, test with a different USB stick.

  3. Initialize the drive manually.

If the USB drive is plugged in but not listed in Boot Disk Creator, it may not be properly initialized. On the first step of Boot Disk Creator, use the Initialize Disk option to make the drive available for selection.

If none of these steps resolve the issue, the USB drive itself may be faulty or use a controller unsupported by the current version of the software.
